Urfer Family Park in Sarasota, Florida, is a diverse recreational destination offering amenities for all ages. • 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

We have driven past this park numerous times, and have repeatedly said "we need to visit this park" - in fact we thought of this park as "small" until we went there for the express purpose of exploring it. It is quite a bit larger than we thought (55+ acres), a generous amount of parking, restroom facilities, etc. Dogs are welcome here as long as they are on leash, and the water fountains have dog bowls built in.
NOTE: Some areas are off-limits to dogs, pay attention to signs.

Great Playground Area!

The playground features modern and safe equipment designed to cater to kids of all ages. Colorful slides, climbing structures, and swings provide endless hours of entertainment and exercise. The soft rubber surface ensures a safe landing for little ones as they explore and play.

Parents can take advantage of the nearby picnic areas and benches, offering a comfortable spot to relax while keeping a watchful eye on their children at play. The playground's thoughtful design includes shaded areas, offering respite from the Florida sun during hot days.
